Social Impact Enterprises co-founder Professor Geeta Nargund

Prof. Geeta Nargund

  • Prof. Geeta Nargund co-founded Social Impact Enterprises to support innovators who are passionate about making a positive social impact.

    Previously, Geeta had founded UK-headquartered CREATE Fertility, one of the most innovative companies in the fertility space. She also co-founded abc IVF to revolutionise fertility care, making world-class IVF affordable and accessible for women everywhere. In 2021, the businesses were exited to IVIRMA Global, the world’s largest reproductive medicine company.

    Geeta is a trustee of Create Health Foundation, a leading women’s health charity in the UK devoted to promoting an evidence-based and supportive approach to women’s health.


    Geeta is also the Chair of Executive Pipeline Ltd., a leading gender parity consulting in the UK that addresses the underrepresentation of women in senior roles by empowering female leaders through tailored development programmes.


    She serves on several national and international scientific and advisory committees, including as a board member and the vice chair of the British Red Cross and as a member of the WHO (World Health Organisation) expert sub-group on infertility guidelines.

    Geeta has won international recognition not only for her leadership in the medical field but also for her philanthropic efforts. Over the years, she has received numerous awards, including the “Red woman of the year award for charity and community work”, “RBS chairman’s award” and “Inspirational woman award 2015”.

Praful Nargund

  • Praful is a social entrepreneur and campaigner. As the co-founder and director of Social Impact Enterprises, Praful is on a mission to combine innovation with cutting-edge technology to solve social challenges.

    Praful has won innovation and business awards from The Spectator, The Telegraph and London Business School. He is passionate about the potential for entrepreneurs to deliver positive social change and empower talent from all backgrounds to succeed.

Social Impact Enterprises non-executive chairman and advisor David Bernstein

David Bernstein

  • David Alan Bernstein, CBE, FCA is the non-executive chairman and advisor to the board at Social Impact Enterprises. In 2014, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his services to football.

    David served for 8 years as chairman of the British Red Cross, finishing in 2021. He has chaired many companies including French Connection and Ted Baker. Most recently, under his stewardship, Vanarama, one of the leading vehicle leasing companies in the UK, was sold to Autotrader Plc in an industry-leading transaction. David has previously chaired Manchester City FC, The Football Association, and Wembley Stadium Limited.

    David’s strong experience across multiple business sectors will support the founder and management teams of our portfolio companies as they continue to learn and scale up.

    David supports several charities and has a wide range of interests including modern history, politics, opera, and golf.

Social Impact Enterprises fund manager Anurag Agarwal

Anurag Agarwal

  • Anurag Agarwal heads Social Impact Enterprises, which he had helped set up along with the founders.

    Anurag leverages his 20+ years of investments, mergers and acquisitions and advisory experience to identify and partner with founder managers and management teams of high-growth start-ups and SMEs, as these businesses pursue key strategic initiatives. He is an active board member of Origin Coffee, bloobloom, Executive Pipeline, Limitless Travel and Mintago.

    Previously, Anurag spent 17 years with EY across offices in London and New Delhi, during which time he played a pivotal role in helping the founders exit their family business.

    Anurag is a Chartered Accountant and earned his MBA from the Indian School of Business. Anurag enjoys traveling, sports, and staying active.

Louisa Dollimore

  • Louisa began her career as an organiser for Dame Siobhain McDonagh MP. After earning a Bachelor’s in English from Oxford University, Louisa joined Praful’s team where she has worked across a range of initiatives, including the Good Growth Foundation.

Aarnav Sandhu

  • Aarnav Sandhu is an Analyst in our investment team at Social Impact Enterprises. He supports on the day-to-day operations of the firm, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio management.

    Prior to joining, Aarnav had spent two years working in Technology M&A in London.
